Terms and Conditions

1. Application.

​

​

  • Deadline for all applications is Friday October 18th

  • Applicants will be notified by of their acceptance or otherwise by 8th November.

  • Deadline to confirm acceptance and payment of exhibitor fee is 22nd November.

2. Selection

​​

As we have far more potters than places, unfortunately not everyone can participate each year, but we will consider each potter’s application for the quality, innovation and skill of their work. 

​

Attendees are selected by panel and decisions are final. 

​

Only ceramics made by you, in your studio will be accepted. No seconds or painted blanks.  

​

3. Payment.

​

  • Deadline to confirm acceptance and payment of exhibitor fee ($350) is 22nd November.

  • Banking Details will be provided for transfer. 

​

4 Event Timetable.

​

In order to provide a safe and orderly start and completion to the expo please adhere to the following guidelines. Traffic marshals will be present on site to assist with traffic management and set up, please abide by their instructions.

Bump in - Arrival and Set Up 

​

  • Friday 21st February between 10am and 6pm​
  • Drive in and wait at the main entrance until you are cleared to enter

  • Drive into your site, unload completely and then remove your vehicle from the area. 

  • Return on foot to complete your set up.  

​

During the Expo: Saturday 22th - Sunday 23th February

​

  • Please have your stall attended between 10 am and 5.30pm on Saturday and 10am - 5.00 pm on Sunday

  • Park your car in the designated area for Potters - this parking is available all weekend for potters. We want to leave as much customer parking as we can in the main street and in car parks adjacent to the Expo.

  • Please make sure you use only your designated 3x3 space.

Pack up and departure - Sunday after 5.00pm

​

This can be a very busy time. Vendors need to follow instructions from the Traffic Marshalls. Patience and consideration of others make the process smoother and safer and is a requirement for all participants. 

​

  • Completely dismantle your stall and pack up before attempting to bring your car on site.

  • Please wait for the traffic Marshall to admit your to the site in your vehicle.

  • Park as instructed.

  • Take some time and - have a dip in the river or grab a bite to eat!

5. Other useful information

Potters must supply their own Gazebo 3m x 3m. The ground can be uneven so please bring chocks to level your tables and stall. 

​

Potters supply their own funds collection system. In past years there have been some issues with Optus Mobile reception for use of POS systems. ( eg SQUARE ). We recommend a Telstra Sim Card for the event.

6. Cancellation Policy

​

In the event where we have to postpone or cancel the market due to a Total Fire Ban or other weather event, you will be offered the choice of a transfer ( if the event is postponed) or a full refund. 

​

Other Cancellation Policy :

​

  • 30 days or more incurs a 10% Cancellation Fee

  • 20-14 days before the event incurs 50% Cancellation Fee

  • 14 days or less incurs 100% Cancellation Fee

6. Covid-19 Policy

​

Our event will adhere to Government Rules at the time of the event. 

​

7. Security and Insurance.

​

  • The Expo takes $20,000,000 in Public Liability Insurance for the Event

​

  • Potters secure their tents and insure that items are not at risk of falling in the event of bad weather.

  • Security guards patrol the area Friday and Saturday nights.
