BOTH is a young band from Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, made up of Ahren Tampiyappa, Banjo Koster, Declan Collins, Lelu Bachsinar Ball, and Sam Getson. Following a breakout 2024 in which they played a packed out Sooki Lounge (a venue having hosted the likes of Josh Pyke and the late Archie Roach) for their second headline show, and performed at Queenscliff Music Festival, Warrandyte Festival, and Fed Square. They also recorded their debut EP Ready Yet at RMIT, featuring tracks like "Keeping Me Around." The song impressed triple J’s Sara Glaidous, who described it as “mind-blowing,” noting its “subtle intricacies” that kept her “hooked”. Triple j presenter Annika Luna also praised the track, giving it a 4.5/5, highlighting the “heavenly femme vocals, hazy guitar riffs, and unique contributions from each band member.”

Influenced by their surroundings, people, and the music they love, BOTH’s sound blends surf rock, hip-hop, nostalgic storytelling, smooth drums, and rich vocals into a distinctive mix.
