2nd Pottery Expo @ Gapsted event

Our newest venue for the expanding Pottery Expo network is a regional event at Gapsted Wines near Beechworth in N.E. Victoria. This will be the second running of the Pottery Expo @ Gapsted event, which is being arranged by Ric and Judy Pierce of One Tree Hill Pottery in Beechworth. It will be held over the Victorian March long weekend. The area is beautiful at this time of year and will be an excellent venue to showcase ceramic art. Take the opportunity to chat with the artists.

Come along to the 2nd Pottery Expo@ Gapsted event and enjoy the ambience of the setting combined with wonderful art, lovely people and great regional food and wine. Gapsted Winery has arranged for a large marquee, music and gourmet food stalls for the weekend.

 

Mon Dieu, the French are coming!

This year will be a very special Expo event with seven French ceramic artists from the Rhone Alps region joining us at the Expo.

Special exhibitions featuring the seven visiting artists, plus work of 25 potters from the Rhone Alps region will be held in the lead up to Expo, more information about the visiting artists and exhibitions is available here.

Where are Gapsted Wines located?

Gapsted Wines are on the Great Alpine Rd approximately 35km east of Wangaratta and about 7km west of Myrtleford. Beechworth, Milawa, the King Valley and Bright are in the nearby area.

 

This weekend is a chance to meet and see the work of not only local potters but those from around Victoria and interstate.
Pottery Expo is based on the concept of the Marché de Potiers [Potters Markets] of France.

 

Come along and enjoy a great weekend with an opportunity to view and buy beautiful ceramic art by wonderful artists.
